  I had a great experience at the walk in clinic. They took such great care of my 8 month old. The nurse at the front desk and Dr on call were amazing!

  When attending the walk in clinic it was full in the waiting room across the hall and when there are a handful of elderly people who are waiting in the passage and the receptionist causes a problem for my grandmother to have a seat in the waiting room that is empty that (the receptionist) is in. She was not friendly quite abrasive and that isn't something someone really wants to deal with when sick. She kept leaving the reception room and the Doctor would come out for help with something and she would be no where in sight. We were there for about 2 hours (which is not a huge problem as we know this is a walk in and these times can vary) The thing that really saved this review from being a 1 or 2 star was that the doctor himself (Dr. Cameron) was an absolute sweetheart and was very friendly and professional.

  Roxanne (the receptionist) was very friendly during my first visit at the new Port Hope Walk-In. She had a smile on her face, made some light conversation and was generally interested in why I had come in today. Every interaction with her was pleasant. It's not usually what I get when I visit a hospital or a walk-in clinic, so thank you Roxanne for creating that wonderful experience.

  I did not give 5 stars completely because with regards to the walk-in (like most walk-ins) you will be waiting a long time. I think I waited for a good hour and a half but I didn't feel rushed when I saw the doctor. If you go to Port Hope Walk-In, expect a long wait, so bring a book or something with you.

  I was at the clinic this morning (Dec 16th, 2017 10:00 a.m.) and the woman behind the desk taking info from everyone was extremely rude. I was #11 in line and two others after me got the same treatment. I was shocked at the way she was talking to me and I let the doctor know. From his response I am sure I was not the first to tell him what she had done. One of the first five was a young girl who left the building in tears, she had the poor girl crying! Dr Banerjee was great and my review was only based on that woman taking info.
